Parker expects Cardiff ace to start, has caused Leeds 'problems' in the past
There is one area that Cardiff City will surely be looking to exploit against Leeds United on Saturday afternoon at Elland Road.
The Welsh side are full of colossal players such as Aden Flint, Sean Morrison, and Marlon Pack, and set-pieces could see them take advantage of the likes of Gaetano Berardi.
In the recent 2-0 victory against Hull City, Berardi managed Tom Eaves superbly – despite him being almost twice the size, so he is definitely capable of doing the same against Cardiff.
Previewing the clash on Saturday, Ben Parker admitted that he expects Gary Madine to be given the nod to lead the line by Neil Harris, especially after the problems he has caused the Whites in the past.
“They’ve got good players in the attacking third,” Parker said on the LUTV app.
“Madine was on the bench, so whether he starts, I probably expect him to do due to the size of him.”

“He’s caused us problems in the past as well.”
Parker is definitely right to suggest that Madine is capable of causing Leeds problems in the final third, but he did struggle for Sheffield United last season.
Having Liam Cooper available could ease a couple of headaches for Marcelo Bielsa, with the Scotsman having been phenomenal so far this season. Bilesa has said he won’t use him if he’s not 100%, though.

Having the best defence in Europe’s top five divisions as well as the football league, Leeds will be confident that they can cope with anything that is thrown their way in games this season.
After all, they’ve come up against a team that is taller than them before, it happens nearly every week in the Championship.
