With Jean-Kevin Augustin suffering another injury ahead of the Championship restart next weekend, Tyler Roberts could be set to make a bigger impact for Leeds United.
He was on fire just before the season was suspended, scoring two goals off the bench in the game against Hull.
And fans think he’s looking super sharp in training after Leeds posted a video from Thorp Arch on Friday.
Roberts has struggled with injuries since arriving from West Brom but he’s still only 21-years-old.
He looked like a different player when he came on for the final 23 minutes against Hull and took his two goals with real confidence.
That’s something that’s been missing for Leeds this season and, with Augustin likely out, there’s now extra pressure on Patrick Bamford to deliver.
Roberts could be the man to help shoulder the burden and while we’re not expecting him to start against Cardiff, we can see him being the impact sub off the bench.
One slight worry from the video is that there was no sign of Pablo Hernandez but we’ve not heard anything about an injury.
Hopefully, he was just hiding from the cameras.
