Nottingham Forest vs Leeds United result predicted by supercomputer

Leeds are expected to lose to Nottingham Forest on Sunday.

Daniel Farke’s side travel to the City Ground looking to arrest a dismal away record that they have picked up on their return to the Premier League.

Leeds have won just one of their five away matches, conceding 12 goals in the process, while only scoring three.

That has been reflected in a new prediction that has been made for the contest on 9 November.

Nottingham Forest are heavy favourites to beat Leeds

Farke has tough decisions to make for his Leeds squad in the contest, with Anton Stach potentially returning to the line-up.

The Opta supercomputer gives the Whites a 24.2 per cent chance of victory on the road in Nottinghamshire.

Meanwhile, the hosts have been handed a 50.9 per cent chance to win, with the second most likely option being a draw at 24.9 per cent.

The Opta supercomputer’s predictions

Leeds have a dismal recent record against Nottingham Forest

There is justification for the supercomputer’s prediction being heavily in favour of Sean Dyche’s side, as the Peacocks have a poor recent record against this opponent.

Leeds have won just one of their last seven against them, which was the last time the sides met, a 2-1 victory at Elland Road in April 2023.

Forest have started the campaign with three different managers, and that has shown, as they sit 19th in the top-flight, after just one win from their opening 10 matches.

Meanwhile, the Whites have won three of their first 10 games and find themselves in 16th place in the table.

It is not a surprise that Farke’s side are the underdogs in the contest, given their miserable away record and their recent form against Forest.

However, the German and his team have to prove the data wrong; they must win and improve their form on the road, before it is too late and they find themselves in relegation danger.
