Norwich fans react to Daniel Farke after Leeds United win – Phil Hay
Norwich City fans gave Daniel Farke a positive send-off, despite his Leeds United side ultimately getting the better of their team in a thrilling 3-2 final score, according to Phil Hay.
The Athletic journalist shared via his personal Twitter account that the send-off to Farke tells a story of how respected and loved the boss was during his time at Carrow Road.
On the day, Norwich took a 2-0 lead in the first half, before a thrilling second-half performance from Leeds saw them overturn the result through an own goal by Shane Duffy and two Crysencio Summerville strikes.
An excellent second-half
Whatever the boss told his team in the half-time break, it certainly worked. Overturning a 2-0 deficit in any Championship fixture is a remarkable achievement, but to do it away from home against a side in great form is a real display of how good this squad is.
Summerville in particular was the standout performer for Leeds, but it is the belief Farke gives his sides that enabled the Whites to overcome a heavy deficit and earn a valuable three points away from home.
Farke of course achieved two promotions during his time at Carrow Road, the credentials which earned him the role as Leeds’ boss as they look to replicate that achievement, and it is clear that has earned him some favour in Norwich.

From here, Leeds will be looking to push on in their quest for promotion, and it’s wins like that where you look back at the end of the season and think “That’s how we did it”. It’s the type of result that can provide a boost and give the players belief they can pull off their aims.
