'MOTM', 'Unbelievable' - These Leeds fans awestruck by 26y/o in 3-3 v Cardiff
It was a disappointing afternoon for Leeds United on Saturday as they blew a three-goal lead to draw against Cardiff City at Elland Road.
Leeds not only dropped two points but they also dropped to second in the Championship table as West Brom won against Birmingham.
Despite the clear negatives, there were some positives in Saturday’s display and one of them was the magnificent performance of striker Patrick Bamford.
The 26-year-old scored a goal in each half to take his tally to nine for the season and in doing so, impressed Leeds fans on Twitter.
One even claimed that the former Chelsea striker was Leeds’ man of the match in the 3-3 draw with Cardiff.
While he was definitely a contender, there are bound to be a lot of plaudits for Helder Costa who also impressed.
However in this case, it was Bamford who really caught the eye of these Leeds fans:
From 3-0 to 3-3. Warned about complacency at HT, and unfortunately proved right. The substitutions disrupted our form and after the 2nd goal we just looked shocked. Very disappointing to draw after being 3-0 up. But a point is better than none. Bamford MOTM. FT 3-3

Just about calmed down from earlier. Class from Bamford again, I see the twitter mob are starting to realise how vital he is to us. Lose our press when he isn't on the pitch and invited that pressure for the last 2 goals. Points a point. 10 clear of 3rd, this show goes on. #lufc
