Leeds United play Brighton at the Amex on Saturday in a rare 3pm kick-off and a win would really ignite hopes of a late push for Europe.
If that wasn’t exciting enough, Leeds fans are now buzzing after Ally McCoist confirmed that he would be on comms duty for the game live on Amazon Prime.
McCoist made the announcement on talkSPORT this morning (Thursday, 9.50am) and it’s got plenty of Leeds fans wishing it was Saturday already.
And for good reason. McCoist is in our opinion, hands down, the best commentator at the moment.
It’s not just us and Leeds fans that think this either.
Plenty of fans were loving his commentary from the Man City v Everton game earlier this season, including the popular Leeds journalist Graham Smyth.
It might already exist but there's a video to be made of McCoist goal celebrations that would, I believe, prove he enjoyed scoring goals more than any other human ever. But he's taken that enjoyment into commentary.

Smyth said McCoist enjoyed goals more than “any other human ever. But he’s taken that enjoyment into commentary.”
While other pundits have taken cheap shots at Leeds this season, McCoist has remained resolute, consistently praising Bielsa’s men for the style of football they’ve been playing in their first season back in the top flight.
He’s one of the only pundits who’s talked about Leeds injury problems at the back, while others were criticising Bielsa.
McCoist also injects the sort of passion into games that just sounds fake from other pundits.
Peter Drury will be his partner for Saturday’s games and plenty of fans have taken to Twitter to celebrate the news.
The two tweets below show what the Leeds fans think of the news. And we’re with them.

Leeds fans don’t need reminding of the dark days of coverage with Don Goodman and the like in the Championship.
We think McCoist and Leeds make the perfect partnership and we can’t wait to hear him get excited about the prospect of watching Bielsa-ball for 90+ minutes at the Amex.
