Mateo Joseph and Manor Solomon in on-pitch debate after what happened in Leeds United v QPR
Graham Smyth spotted Mateo Joseph and Manor Solomon deep in debate after a misjudged moment from the Leeds United pair against QPR on Saturday.
Daniel Farke restored Mateo Joseph to the starting XI after six consecutive substitute appearances in the Championship, though he was unable to add to his goalscoring record on 9 November.
That may have been down to the service into the striker, something that was clear to see after the Spaniard clashed with Solomon on the pitch, airing out their differences in the 2-0 win at Elland Road.
Writing via the Yorkshire Evening Post [10 November], Smyth said: “Joseph and Solomon debating who got it right and who got it wrong after the winger crossed to where the striker was not.”
Leeds United negatives still appear despite victory v QPR
Farke will have been buzzing to see his side getting back to winning ways at Elland Road, especially after the disappointing 1-0 defeat to Millwall on the road last time out.
The Whites can now head into the international break with their heads held high, just two points behind league leaders Sunderland after 15 matches as a Championship title race begins to emerge.
Leeds will have to keep one eye on the teams behind them, with Sheffield United just one point behind and Watford four points behind, but the team are in a brilliant position right now.
Despite this, there will still be aspects for Leeds to work on if they are to secure automatic promotion to the Premier League this term, and getting Joseph back on the scoresheet will be one of them.

After a bright start to the campaign, the 21-year-old striker only has two goals in 15 appearances, which has seen Joel Piroe take the striker spot back in the starting XI again.
Though, with all three points won at Elland Road on Saturday, this small argument between teammates will already be history as far as Farke is concerned.
