Marcelo Bielsa has claimed that Leeds United playmaker Pablo Hernandez was fully fit despite his omission from the squad v Crystal Palace.
The Spaniard was pictured throwing a tantrum after being replaced against Leicester City on Monday, and that appears to have had a saying on this.
Leeds fell to another 4-1 defeat at Crystal Palace and were missing numerous key players in the capital on Saturday.
Bielsa explained the absence of Hernandez, claiming that it was simply a selection issue – smoothing we find hard to believe given his quality.
BBC journalist Adam Pope shared the quotes on his personal Twitter account, as the playmaker was a notable absence.
“I pick the 18 players who I think are the most apt for the upcoming game.”
Shackleton was out due to a muscle injury in training yesterday. On Pablo’s omission Bielsa says he was fit & available: “I pick the 18 players who I think are the most apt for the upcoming game.” #lufc

Leeds played with an extra man in their defence, something that massively backfired and stifled the Whites going forward.
Mateusz Klich had added responsibility to get forward from his role, and that just saw him tire far too easily in the final half an hour.
Hernandez was simply showing passion on Monday, and he shouldn’t have been punished for his reaction after being replaced.
The veteran has been the best player at Elland Road ever since he arrived, and it wouldn’t go down well if he was pushed away from the action.
With a full international break behind the entire squad, it is likely that Rodrigo will take up that role once again, meaning that Hernandez will have to settle for his place on the bench.
