Many Leeds fans blast player after 'another diabolical performance' v Cardiff: 'Let him go'
Eddie Nketiah’s future at Leeds United has been a big talking point in recent weeks with speculation suggesting that Arsenal want to recall the young forward.
Since joining Leeds on a season-long loan in the summer, Nketiah has failed to start a single Championship fixture despite being a regular as a substitute for Marcelo Bielsa’s side.
The Daily Mail has reported that the Gunners are set to terminate the 20-year-old’s loan at Elland Road and plan to loan him out elsewhere to get more game-time.
Nketiah started life well at Leeds but after an injury ruled him out of action for several weeks, he has since returned to the side and is not playing as well as an impact substitute as he did before his injury.
On Saturday, a lot of Leeds fans were furious with the England Under-21 international’s performance in the 3-3 draw with Cardiff.
Bielsa’s men threw away a three-goal lead at home against the Bluebirds, who only had 10 men on the pitch when they bagged a late equaliser.
Nketiah’s performance failed to impress fans and plenty took to Twitter to rip into him, with some saying they would not mind if Arsenal recalled him next month.
am i the only one that wouldn’t even be that annoyed if Nketiah went back? #lufc

Let me tell you. Nketiah offers this team nothing. Walking about having been on the pitch 10 minutes. Thinks he’s above it. Send him back in Jan and give Edmondson a go. #lufc

Let him go back and bring in another player who plays in a similar style to Bamford so he can step into our current system and our game isn't compromised if Bamford is not playing.

Anyone wanting a reason for why Nketiah doesn’t get a look in, look no further than his laziness for the third goal #LUFC

If that’s what Eddie brings to the table when he comes on then sorry he can do one in Jan and get someone in that puts himself about

One fan suggests that getting rid of Nketiah could be a “blessing in disguise” as it means Leeds could sign Jonathan Kodjia from Aston Villa on loan as a replacement.
Kodjia has a good record in the Championship but has only made four appearances this season and had injury issues in recent years.
He is not the answer.
Unpopular opinion: Losing Eddie in January maybe a blessing in disguise. No doubt he is a goal scorer but doesnt suit our style go and get Kodja on loan instead #lufc

In other Leeds United news, Bielsa has given the green light to selling this 24-year-old in January.
