Manor Solomon spotted in ‘furious’ Leeds United moment after what happened v QPR

Leeds United dropped points in a frustrating afternoon with a 2-2 draw against Queen’s Park Rangers on Saturday.

Daniel Farke‘s side recovered from a two-goal deficit on 15 March but could not find a winner after Jayden Bogle had gotten them level.

The Whites’ lead at the summit was reduced to just two points after Burnley beat Swansea and they could be overhauled by Sheffield United if the Blades win their game in hand.

Manor Solomon spotted in angry scenes in Leeds draw v QPR

As Farke tried to secure victory for his side, he took off Manor Solomon for Largie Ramazani in the 84th minute.

The 25-year-old was furious with the decision to replace him after he had a positive influence on the contest and his frustration was spotted by Leeds Live reporter Isaac Johnson in his unseen moments article.

The report (16 March) states that the Whites ace was visibly angry after the change was made.

Johnson wrote: “The Israeli gestured angrily to the bench with his arms outstretched and took his frustration out on a corner flag as he made his way round, having been told to exit the pitch at the nearest point.”

Leeds need Solomon to step up in Championship promotion race

The West Yorkshire outfit have now dropped points in three of their last four league matches as their promotion ambitions begin to unravel in a worrying twist.

They need the Tottenham loanee to step up as he has failed to register a goal contribution in his last six appearances at a time when it is crucial that they win as many games as possible.

Solomon’s run without a goal or assist

The Israel international will hope to return to the form that saw him notch eight of his 14 contributions in seven matches between 4 January and 11 February.

There are still plenty of twists and turns to come in the race for automatic promotion but having one of your best players not scoring or assisting as the season comes to a close is far from ideal.

Farke needs Solomon to revive his faltering form and Leeds’ faltering title hopes with eight matches to play, or his side may miss out on promotion again in heartbreaking fashion with the Clarets and the Blades hot on their heels.

The Whites cannot afford to drop many more points, otherwise their Premier League dreams may be shattered once again.
