Manor Solomon not with Leeds United squad in early blow v Cardiff City
Manor Solomon has not travelled with the Leeds United squad for the Championship clash against Cardiff on Saturday 21 September, as shared by Joe Donnohue.
The Israeli international was a “major” doubt heading into the fixture with a back problem [Adam Pope], which appears to have kept him out.
Daniel Farke had several issues going into the game in the Welsh capital, with one change already confirmed ahead of the team news dropping.
The Yorkshire Evening Post journalist shared the news via X: “No Manor Solomon with the Leeds United squad.”
Manor Solomon injury blow for Leeds United v Cardiff
After his mistake against Burnley, some of the gloss came off the positive start that Solomon had since arriving on loan from Tottenham.
The winger will surely have been determined to make up for that in Cardiff on 21 September, but injury looks to have taken that away from him.
With Dan James also out, Farke will be pulling his hair slightly looking to make things right with a much-needed win against the Bluebirds.
Largie Ramazani is the obvious replacement, with the Belgian winger looking for his first start for the Whites since arriving from Almeria in the summer.
He has been bright off the bench in his cameos so far at Elland Road, but the chance to start will excite him to show exactly what he has got.
Hopefully, this blow doesn’t come back to haunt Leeds in South Wales.
In other Leeds United news, Daniel Farke must start one of his “frustrated” stars, he has never lost to Cardiff.
