‘Magic’ – Many Leeds fans heap praise on 23-year-old who was ‘utterly unplayable’ v Hull
Leeds United made it four wins on the bounce in spectacular style on Saturday, simply blowing Hull City away in the 4-0 demolition.
It was hard to pick out one player who didn’t perform at the KCOM Stadium, as the Whites went one point behind West Brom with a big win in the Championship.
Leeds are now the in-form side in the division, a month after nearly every player, pundit and fan started to question their ability to earn promotion to the Premier League.
Jack Harrison did everything but score in the game, with the Manchester City loanee a constant headache for Robbie McKenzie.
The 23-year-old hit the post with a superb curling effort in the second half, and also forced a couple of smart saves from Hull keeper George Long as the game opened up dramatically.
His five goals and six assists have seen him almost double his goal involvements from last season, but it could have been so much better on Saturday.
Harrison was everywhere and completed an impressive six dribbles, four key passes as well as three shots on goal according to WhoScored – something that saw him walk off the field disappointed that he couldn’t add to his tallies for the season.
Many Leeds fans were still blown away by the winger’s performance at the KCOM though, with one claiming that he was simply unplayable.
