Daniel Farke has confirmed that Liam Cooper and Georginio Rutter are fit for Leeds United's clash with Swansea on Wendesday at Elland Road.

Rutter was a doubt for the draw with Rotherham and was subbed off just after the hour mark while Cooper limped off with a hamstring problem, but both have recovered and are available for the next game.

Farke also confirmed in his pre-game press conference (28 November) that Pascal Struijk, Sam Byram, Djed Spence, Joe Gelhardt and Jamie Shackleton are fit and available for the game after more training sessions under their belt.

"Georginio Rutter is over his injury so he's back to 100%," he said. "The same with Liam Cooper. He limped off but the last days was enough for him to recover.

"No question marks. Everyone is available at least for the moment. We have one final session tomorrow morning. Apart from our long-term injuries everyone is available."

Go again

Leeds were in a fantastic place before the international break, but that two-week pause seemed to effect the team negatively as the performance against Rotherham was rather poor.

The opening 45 minutes was strong and dominant but we weren't nearly clinical enough and allowed them into the game to steal a point they didn't really deserve.

But now we head to Elland Road with the crowd right behind us and knowing that we need to improve, this is a great opportunity to go again and bring all three points back.

The players will have a point to prove and we need to find that momentum again to continue our push for automatic promotion, as we missed the chance to put pressure on Ipswich and Leicester last weekend.

Those few extra days of training will no doubt have been useful and hopefully Farke can get the players going to turn in a big performance and pick up all three points.
