'Liability', 'Brutal', 'Needs to be dropped' - Many Leeds fans blast one player at HT v Millwall

A section of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to slam Luke Ayling for his first-half performance against Millwall on Tuesday night.

Shaun Hutchison scored an early goal for the visitors after some awful defending at a corner by Leeds before Ayling gave away a penalty that was converted by Jed Wallace.

Plenty of fans have pointed the finger at Ayling for Leeds conceding that first goal from the corner and while he was suspect, it would be harsh to pin the blame entirely on him.

Kiko Casilla was rooted to his line, everyone was static and it was one of them were the whole team defended poorly and deserved to concede a goal.

However there’s no denying that Ayling was at fault when Millwall won a penalty which led to them doubling their lead through Wallace.

Ayling is one of those players who is regularly criticised by fans and while a lot of the time he is a bit of a scapegoat, there’s no denying that he deserves to be on the end of a pasting from fans on Twitter for his first-half display against Millwall.

One has even claimed that the former Bristol City right-back should be dropped for his latest poor display.
