Leeds vs Man United result predicted by supercomputer
Leeds face off against their fierce rivals, Manchester United on Sunday.
Leeds started 2026 with a goalless draw away to Liverpool, extending their unbeaten Premier League run to five games under Daniel Farke.
The Whites return to Elland Road for the first time this year, with an encounter against a Man United side that have shown plenty of signs of weakness under Ruben Amorim.
Leeds are certainly the side heading into the game in better form, though that seems to be taken out of the equation for Opta‘s supercomputer prediction.
Opta prediction shows how small the gap is between Leeds and Man United
Last time Leeds had a sustained period in the Premier League, Man United were among the favourites for the Premier League title more often than not.
Now, things have changed, and despite a rocky start to the campaign, Leeds find themselves just nine points behind the Red Devils after 19 games, which is only two points more than the gap the Whites have on the bottom three.
Given recent form and the Elland Road factor, Leeds will be confident of a result, though Opta‘s supercomputer forecasts otherwise.
Amorim’s side are more likely to win the clash with a 40.8 per cent chance of victory, while Leeds have a 33.5 per cent chance of taking all three points.
Leeds can move one step closer to making history vs Man United
Sunday’s encounter will certainly be an exciting one, but it could also be a decisive one where history is concerned.
Leeds have scored at least three goals in each of their last three Premier League fixtures at Elland Road this season, with their 4-1 hammering of Crystal Palace the most recent one.
- Leeds 4-1 Crystal Palace
- Leeds 3-3 Liverpool
- Leeds 3-1 Chelsea
The last time they had a longer run in the top-flight was between October and December 1993, where they managed to achieve that feat five times in a row.
Man United’s defensive record will also give the Whites hope of maintaining that, with the Red Devils having conceded at least once in each of their last 14 Premier League away games, the most recent of which ended in a 2-1 defeat against Aston Villa.
