Leeds v Bristol City player ratings: 4/10 ace flops, Ilia Gruev stars

Leeds United secured the three points against Bristol City on Monday night at Elland Road in the EFL Championship.

Ao Tanaka’s first-half goal ensured that the hosts went into the break with a one-goal advantage.

Wilfried Gnonto then doubled the Whites’ lead in the second half and Largie Ramazani came off the bench to score the third and ensured a 4-0 victory for the West Yorkshire outfit.

Patrick Bamford has cameo to forget at Elland Road

Bamford came off the bench in the 81st minute of the contest, aiming to have a late impact on the game.

However, things do not go as planned as he lost possession twice in the limited time he was on the pitch, but also lost his only dribble attempt, per Sofascore.

Farke’s stats as Leeds United manager after the win against Bristol City.

This could very well be his last appearance at Elland Road as he’s not been a regular in the Championship, so it’s unlikely that he gets more minutes in the Premier League.

Leeds may even want to upgrade on Joel Piroe, signing a new striker to bench their leading scorer this season, so Bamford may not get his farewell Elland Road goal.

Largie Ramazani makes case to start next game for Leeds United

Ramazani came off the bench to score two goals in what was an exceptional cameo from the Belgian winger for Leeds United.

It did not take him any time to warm up as he seemed to score right after he came off the bench, much to Farke’s delight.

He also made a fair case to start him for the final game against Plymouth Argyle on 3 May, perhaps in place of Aaronson with Gnonto moving to the number 10 position.
