Leeds United vs Nottingham Forest result predicted by supercomputer

Leeds United host Nottingham Forest on Friday with the hopes of securing all three points in one of their biggest games of the season.

It’s been a rough week for Daniel Farke, who saw his Leeds side get battered 4-0 by Arsenal on Saturday.

Anton Stach has since picked up a hip injury that rules him out of action for the majority of February.

The Whites currently sit 16th in the Premier League table, and they can’t afford to suffer consecutive home losses, particularly against Sean Dyche’s side.

The 17th-placed visitors come to L4 on the same points as Leeds, and a supercomputer has predicted the outcome of the relegation six-pointer.

Leeds predicted as slight favourites vs Nottingham Forest

Forest are unbeaten in their last four Premier League games, with their latest result being a 1-1 draw at home to Crystal Palace on Sunday.

Dyche has managed to steady the ship, although Forest fans are certainly not convinced that they’ll avoid relegation with ease.

According to Opta‘s supercomputer, Leeds will return to winning ways.

Although they aren’t the favourites, Forest are looking to complete the league double over Leeds for the first time since 2013-14, and for just the second time in the top flight after doing so in 1995-96.

However, the Whites have won their last three Premier League home games against the visitors and have never failed to score in their 25 top-flight matches at Elland Road against Friday’s opponents.

Leeds lost 3-1 to Forest on 9 November, and Farke’s side will certainly be looking to inflict revenge on Dyche’s side.

This has the makings of an extremely competitive contest, and it’s one that could hinge on a bit of magic from Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin can achieve 12-year first vs Nottingham Forest

Leeds have won all four of their Premier League night matches at Elland Road this season (7.30pm or later), with the most recent one being a 4-1 win over Crystal Palace in December.

In that game, Calvert-Lewin scored a brace and was at the peak of his goalscoring form in a Leeds shirt.

Although the goals have slightly dried up, he has still found the back of the net nine times for the Peacocks in 2025-2026.

The last Englishman to score 10 league goals in their first season for Leeds was Matt Smith in 2013-14, who had a tally of 12 in the Championship.

Calvert-Lewin’s best return in a Premier League season is 16 (2020-21), and although that could be tough to achieve this campaign, it’s not implausible.

Forest may well be fielding their third-choice goalkeeper, Angus Gunn, and Calvert-Lewin won’t have many better chances to hit double figures than on Friday.
