Leeds United vs Liverpool preview: Team news, lineups, prediction
Leeds United host Liverpool in the Premier League on Saturday evening as they look to build on a big midweek win.
On Wednesday evening, Leeds beat Chelsea 3-1 at Elland Road to move out of the relegation zone.
Jaka Bijol opened the scoring for Leeds with a towering header, before Ao Tanaka’s first goal in the Premier League doubled their advantage.
Pedro Neto gave Chelsea hope just after half-time, but Dominic Calvert-Lewin tapped into an empty net to secure all three points in LS11 and send fans wild.
The Whites will hope to repeat their midweek heroics on 6 December, and MOT Leeds News highlights everything you need to know ahead of the match.

Preview
Farke remains under immense pressure at Leeds, but another famous win would surely end any talk of the German’s dismissal for now, especially with Paraag Marathe in town.
The Whites are taking on a Liverpool team that are struggling to find their stride at the moment, as they look to defend their Premier League title.
Arne Slot’s side are coming into the game off the back of a 1-1 draw with Sunderland, and have picked up just one win in their last five matches.
The Elland Road faithful will undoubtedly provide a daunting challenge for the Reds, with Leeds hoping that they can continue their form from midweek.
Form guide
Leeds (last six all comps): W L L L L W
Liverpool (last six all comps): W L L L W D
Head-to-head
Leeds have just one win in their last six outings against Liverpool, beating the Merseyside outfit 2-1 back in the 2022-23 campaign.
Crysencio Summerville scored an 89th-minute winner that day, as the Whites secured a shock three points away at Anfield under Jesse Marsch.
However, Leeds have been on the wrong end of some big scorelines, losing 6-1 at Elland Road last time they faced the Reds, and 6-0 the season before that.

Team news and predicted lineups
Leeds could be without both Lukas Nmecha and Calvert-Lewin for the visit of Liverpool, as the pair battle hamstring and calf issues, respectively.
That could open the door for Joel Piroe to be given his first start since August, with Noah Okafor in line to start alongside him, just as they finished up against Chelsea.
Elsewhere, Tanaka could be given a rest after running himself into the ground, with Ilia Gruev coming in as his replacement in the centre of midfield.

For Liverpool, Mohamed Salah could return to the starting line-up after being dropped to the bench for the Reds’ games against West Ham and Sunderland.
Leeds predicted XI: Perri; Bogle, Rodon, Bijol, Struijk, Gudmundsson; Gruev, Ampadu, Stach; Okafor, Piroe
Liverpool predicted XI: Alisson; Gomez, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson; Gravenbech, Mac Allister; Salah, Szoboszlai, Wirtz; Isak
Prediction: Leeds 1-1 Liverpool
While Liverpool are clearly big favourites in this contest, Leeds proved against Chelsea that they are more than capable of mixing it with the big boys.
In their new 5-3-2 system, Farke’s side are a completely different proposition, and will feel confident that they can get stuck into the Merseyside outfit.
Leeds will require an element of luck to get anything out of the game, but with Liverpool in poor form, there is no reason why they can’t aim for a positive result.
