Leeds United v Sheff Wed: Sky man reacts instantly to ‘Alarming’ Dan James moment
Sky Sports commentator Daniel Mann described Sheffield Wednesday’s defending as “pretty alarming” after a mazy run from Leeds United ace Dan James at Elland Road
The Whites won the game 3-0 after a goal from Manor Solomon in the third minute before Largie Ramazani killed off the game in the 88th minute and Ao Tanaka added a final goal just before full time.
Daniel Farke probably would have wanted his side to look a bit more dominant throughout but three points means they retain their place at the top of the Championship table.
During the second half, James was able to glide his way past a number of Wednesday players which left Mann on Sky Sports commentary analysing: “From a Wednesday point of view it was pretty alarming, Dan James was delighted with the ease he was able to waltz through.
“It wasn’t far from rolling out the red carpet for him”
Leeds United come out on top against Sheffield Wednesday
Although it wasn’t their most dominant performance throughout, Leeds were deserving of their victory and came away with a deserved three points.
The Owls put in a good effort across the 90 minutes but the mistake for the goal and moments like this one showed that it is Leeds who have that edge when it comes to physicality in the game.

Farke will be happy that his side came away with all three points from the game and keep their position at the top of the league although it is now important that they build off this and keep up their good form in the second half of the campaign.
However, beating Yorkshire rivals Wednesday at Elland Road will always be good for morale in the camp and will surely help boost the momentum in the squad as they look ahead to a trip to Norwich City on Wednesday (22 January).
