Leeds United v Millwall: Daniel Farke must axe Junior Firpo after what he did
Junior Firpo has not enjoyed the best of halves for Leeds United against Millwall at Elland Road on Sunday, 17 March.
The left-back has picked up a yellow card which was a dubious decision but that will regardless be on the record now.
He will thus have to be more careful with his challenges in the second period and that could see Daniel Farke consider whether or not to take him off.
Firpo has not been at his best for Leeds United v Millwall
According to Sofascore, Firpo has made errors with his passes as he’s managed to misplace 10 out of the attempted 33.
His accuracy of 70 per cent is extremely underwhelming for a side that’s dominating possession.
He’s also failed to complete a single cross and both his long balls have failed to find their desired target.
Firpo, who is not expected to get a new deal, has lost half of his attempted ground duels and this is certainly not what Farke will want from the left-back.
Losing possession on 13 occasions is nigh on unacceptable in one half, given Leeds’ high standards and their plan to end the weekend at the top of the table.
Sam Byram must come on at the break
Sam Byram is there on the bench to be called upon and will prove to be a better option at left-back.
Not only will be more tidy in possession, but he can also offer much more defensive cover, unlike Firpo who has been caught out of possession.

It remains to be seen whether or not Farke decides to make any changes at the break.
In other Leeds United news, the Whites have already started scouting a defender who plans to return to England in the summer transfer window.
