Leeds United v Leicester City predicted XI: Liam Cooper, Max Wober to miss out after Javi Gracia update, Willy Gnonto in

Javi Gracia will be looking for a response from his Leeds United side v Leicester City after the dismal display against Fulham over the weekend.

The Whites play host to their fellow relegation rivals at Elland Road on Tuesday, 25 April in what undoubtedly is a six-pointer.

Leeds are one place and one point better than Leicester and a win will take the Whites at least five points clear of the drop zone.

There’s a chance of Gracia making a few enforced changes as in his pre-match press conference, he allayed doubts over Max Wober and Liam Cooper being able to play.

When asked if the duo will be available, he said, via the Belfast Telegraph, “For the next game we have some players, who, in this moment, I’m not sure if they’ll be able to play.”

This means that Pascal Struijk and Junior Firpo could return to the lineup as Wober and Cooper may not be risked so soon after the weekend games.

Cooper was billed as the “Man of the Match” by a BT Sport pundit despite Leeds’ loss to Fulham and he’ll certainly be a big miss.

While Gracia also refused to be drawn into whether or not Adam Forshaw is ready to start, given his minutes off the bench recently and the Whites struggling in midfield, he could be given a nod ahead of Weston McKennie who has struggled lately.

The other three changes are in the final third and could give the Whites a different dimension going forward.

Patrick Bamford came off the bench to score a late goal against Fulham and that should be enough for him to start with Rodrigo playing in the hole behind him – with Brenden Aaronson being dropped.

Luis Sinisterra was surprisingly axed for the last game and we expect him to come in for Crysenscio Summerville with Willy Gnonto getting his highly-deserved start on the left with Jack Harrison dropping to the bench.

In other Leeds United news, a Whites player has a potential offer on the table and could seal his permanent Elland Road exit this summer.
