Leeds United v Hull City: Daniel Farke must make decision on awful Patrick Bamford
Patrick Bamford has been a liability for Leeds United in their clash at Elland Road against Hull City on 1 April.
The Whites striker has completed just five passes as he’s been anonymous in the first period on Monday.
He even missed a huge chance and the hosts paid the price for it especially with Leicester City and Ipswich Town both winning.
Bamford must be taken off by Leeds United
Daniel Farke decided to start Bamford ahead of Joel Piroe with Georginio Rutter playing as the number 10.
While Bamford’s movement has been impressive and Piroe has struggled, there is no reason to persist with the Englishman for the second half.
He cannot be their source for goals in the final third and the Dutchman can have more of an impact if he’s brought on off the bench.
At the end of the half, he had another chance to slot the ball into the back of the net, but failed to position himself well.
Hopefully, Farke looks to make the change at the break and ideally plays Rutter as the number nine as he’s got the intelligence to play that role.
Piroe has been deployed as a 10 previously and given the way Hull are playing, it could suit him playing in the hole.

Leeds cannot settle for the draw, especially with the visitors there for the taking and they need to come on rejuvenated in the second half.
