Leeds United: Sky Sports pundit drools over ‘excellent’ Dan James footage v Stoke
Sky Sports pundit Lee Hendrie has heaped praise on Dan James after his goal for Leeds United against Stoke City.
The Whites led 1-0 at half-time against the Potters at Elland Road after a dominant first-half.
James, 26, weaved in and out of a few Stoke defenders before his shot took a deflection and beat Daniel Iverson.
Speaking on Sky Sports News (5 March, 08:19pm), Hendrie said: “He’s caused so many problems. His movement has been absolutely excellent. He does brilliantly here, he’s just waiting for that little bit of support he gets from Kamara. He cuts inside, back on to his right and it takes a slight deflection en route to goal.”

James has been a useful player for Leeds this season and gives them something different in attack.
His pace and power causes all sorts of problems to Championship defenders and is a useful weapon for the Whites as they look to gain promotion back to the Premier League at the first time of asking. They are currently battling it out at the top end of the table with the likes of Leicester City, Southampton and Ipswich Town.
The Wales international, who has 49 caps under his belt, has been on the books of the Yorkshire club since 2021. He has since made 74 appearances in all competitions and has chipped in with 14 goals, 10 of which have come this term.

Prior to his move to Leeds, he had spells at Hull City, Swansea City and Manchester United but seems to have found a home with the Whites now as he looks to be part of something special this term under the guidance of Farke.
