Leeds United relegation prediction made by supercomputer after 2-1 defeat v Crystal Palace
Leeds United now have a 21 per cent chance of being relegated from the Premier League this season after their poor form continued with a defeat at Crystal Palace on Sunday.
Despite taking the lead through Pascal Struijk’s 10th-minute goal, Palace pegged Leeds back before Ebere Eze netted a second-half winner for Palace at Selhurst Park.
Leeds are now without a win in five Premier Lague matches, picking up just two points since their 3-0 win over Chelsea on 21 August.

According to FiveThirtyEight’s football supercomputer, Leeds’ relegation chances have risen to 21 per cent as a result of the defeat in South London

Worrying
Leeds aren’t picking up the points against teams they should be.
So far this season, we’ve dropped points against Southampton, Brighton, Everton, Brentford, Aston Villa and now Palace.
All of them, except for Brighton, finished in the bottom half last season.
Leeds have wins over Wolves and Chelsea but it’ll be the points against the Southamptons and Palaces of the league that will matter most.
While it’s fine to step up and perform well against big-six clubs and take points off them, the way you avoid relegation is by beating teams who are also going to be in and around the drop zone.
It’s too early to look at the table and read anything into it.
But a good number of those teams we’ve dropped points against are also below us – even though we currently sit 14th.
It just shows the kind of issues Leeds will find themselves in if they don’t get out of this slump.
It’s a vital time in the season due to how many games are being played and dropping points now, against potential relegation rivals, won’t cut it.
In other Leeds United news, one player scored 3/10 as he had a stinker in our player ratings versus Palace.
