Leeds United predicted XI v Brentford: Diego Llorente to be axed

Leeds United face Brentford in a do-or-die game on the final day of the Premier League season on Sunday. [May 22]

The Whites do not have their fate in their hands as if Burnley beat Newcastle then they will be relegated to the Championship.

Leeds need to better the Clarets’ result and hope that the Magpies can do them a favour at Turf Moor.

Speaking in the press conference, Jesse Marsch said that Patrick Bamford could play a few minutes against the Bees at the Brentford Community Stadium.

Via the BBC, he said, “In training, he’s looked quite good. He feels very different to how he did six weeks ago.”

His words meant that Bamford is not going to start this one so we’re going with Joe Gelhardt leading the line for the Whites.

Jack Harrison and Raphinha will be the two wingers while Rodrigo will play in the hole behind the number nine.

In midfield, Kalvin Phillips and Mateusz Klich should give the Whites two players who are good on the ball and can play progressive passes.

They may not be the most defensive of duos, but if Leeds are to go out and attack it will be imperative to have two ball players who can control the tempo in midfield.

We see the 27-year-old Diego Llorente being dropped for this one after his recent struggles over the past few weeks.

Pascal Struijk will partner Liam Cooper at the back and Robin Koch will continue playing in an uncustomary right-back position with Junior Firpo on the other side.

All eyes will be on West London as we cannot wait for the action to unfold.

In Leeds United news, an under-the-radar court case involving the transfer of a Leeds player has reached its conclusion with the final payout revealed.
