Leeds United player ratings vs Crystal Palace: Lukas Nmecha woeful, Calvert-Lewin no better
Leeds United and Crystal Palace played out a 0-0 draw at Selhurst Park on Sunday.
The Whites started the clash at Selhurst Park with a lot less intensity than expected, but they were handed the chance to take the lead on the stroke of half-time when Will Hughes handled the ball in the penalty area.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin assumed responsibility, but struck his penalty well wide of the upright, with Palace let off massively before the first half kicked off massively.
Shouts were loud for Jaka Bijol to be shown a second yellow card for a foul on Ismaila Sarr, just moments before Gabriel Gudmundsson actually did receive his marching orders, leaving Leeds to play the second half with ten men.
Fortunately, the Whites were able to keep the Eagles at bay for the second period, with both sides settling for a draw.
With that said, Leeds remain in the relegation battle, and another game without a win will certainly not help their survival prospects.

Lukas Nmecha offered nothing vs Crystal Palace
Lukas Nmecha was the casualty for Leeds when Gudmundsson was sent off, but after his first-half display, he could have had no complaints.
The German failed to complete a single pass in the 45 minutes he was on the pitch, with all five of his attempted passes going wayward.
As showcased by Sofascore, he also won just three of his eight duels against the Eagles, while also having just 10 touches.

It was a day to forget for several Leeds stars, but certainly for Nmecha in particular.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin showcases his biggest issue at Leeds
When Calvert-Lewin is scoring goals, he’s the best thing since sliced bread.
But when he’s not, he struggles to have much of an influence in games, and that was the case against Crystal Palace.
Not only did he miss the penalty in the build-up to all of the first-half controversy, but he won just six of his 17 aerial duels in the game, while also losing his only ground duel.
Calvert-Lewin struggled to get into the game, as evidenced by the fact that he completed just three passes, while also having just 27 touches.
