Leeds United ‘make Manor Solomon squad decision’ for Sheffield United clash
Leeds United have made a squad decision on Manor Solomon ahead of the clash with Sheffield United on Monday.
The Tottenham loanee has been nursing a minor injury ahead of the trip to Bramall Lane on 24 February that could take Leeds five points clear at the summit.
The Israel winger was forced off in the second half before Pascal Struijk’s late heroics against Sunderland last Monday (17 February).
Daniel Farke will hope to have the 25-year-old back in contention for the potentially season-defining clash with the Blades.

Leeds make Solomon decision for Sheffield United
The former Fulham man, who could join Leeds permanently in the summer, has notched seven goals and seven assists for the Elland Road outfit so far this campaign.
Stats 24/25 | Goals | Assists | Chances created |
Solomon | 7 | 7 | 36 |
And the Whites are expected to have Solomon in the travelling squad to face Sheffield United, according to a report from Leeds Live (24 February).
The report claims that the only definite absentees for Farke’s side are Max Wober and Patrick Bamford with knee and hamstring injuries respectively.

Soloman return would be major boost for Leeds
If the Spurs loanee returns for the clash with the Whites’ promotion rivals, it would be a major boost to their chances of securing victory in the top of the table clash.
Since the turn of the year, the Israel international has notched eight goal contributions (four goals, four assists) in nine matches in comparison to six in 17 games before that (three goals, three assists).
If Farke’s side win the contest, they will have one eye on the Premier League given that they would be five points clear at the top of the division and seven clear of third-placed Burnley.
They cannot afford to let their concentration slip with just 12 matches remaining after Monday’s contest to secure their top-flight berth for next season although if they win, they would be able to drop points and still have a healthy buffer.
Solomon’s recent form could tempt Leeds to make the move permanent with Tottenham set to accept bids in the £10-15million range.
However, the focus right now will be on the Bramall Lane clash and ensuring that their stranglehold on the automatic promotion places remains strong heading into the final stages of the campaign.
