Leeds journalist shares Eddie Nketiah status for clash v West Brom
It’s first against second at The Hawthorns this afternoon and possibly the toughest game of the season for Marcelo Bielsa’s men.
They’re looking to do the double over their closest rivals after beating the Baggies 1-0 at Elland Road earlier in the season.
The good news is that Arsenal loanee Eddie Nketiah is available for selection, despite speculation linking him with a return to Arsenal.
Athletic journalist Phil Hay tweeted ahead of the 5.15pm kick-off to say “Nketiah here with the team, as expected”.
Nketiah got his first league start of the season in the 5-4 win against Birmingham last time out but there’s no news as to whether he will start for Leeds today.
Patrick Bamford missed the last game with a dead leg but was expected to be fit for today’s game.

Nketiah is still expected to be recalled by Arsenal before being sent out on another loan, with rivals Bristol City said to be in the hunt.
Back to the game today, the defence will be the big worry. After only conceding 10 goals in 21 games, Leeds have somehow managed to concede 10 in the last four.
West Brom have the league’s best attack and keeping a clean sheet would be massive for Leeds today.
Only goal difference splits the two sides ahead of today’s game.
