There are plenty of people who like hitting Leeds United when they’re down and Sky Sports became the latest to jump on the bandwagon.
They posted footage of the Brighton goal from the 1-0 defeat on Saturday and added the caption, “Are the wheels coming off for Leeds?”
The response was loud and proud from lots of Leeds fans although there were plenty of supporters from other clubs on there almost begging for a rivalry.
Are the wheels coming off for Leeds?

There’s no getting away from the fact that it was a disappointing game for Leeds, one of our worst Premier League displays of the season.
However, as lots of Leeds fans pointed out, we were without Kalvin Phillips, and that left us rudderless in midfield.
We were also missing Diego Llorente, who should be back for the next game against Newcastle.
Ultimately, though, this was fishing for responses and Sky got it – at the latest count, there were almost 400 replies to the post and 200 quote retweets.
As many other Leeds fans pointed out, Sky Sports aren’t sending these tweets out about the other eight clubs below Leeds, including Wolves, Brighton themselves and rock-bottom Sheffield United.
“Obsessed” is what one Leeds fan said and it’s hard to disagree.
One fan summed up the situation perfectly when he said, “When we lose the media say we are falling apart and when we win they talk about getting into Europe?!? We can’t win! Ask any normal Leeds fan and they will tell you the aim is to avoid relegation!”

Here are the best of the reactions to the Sky Sports post…
Lost two league games in a row & the wheels are coming off. The way the media big us up then try smash us down is embarrassing.
Be all over us again when we win our next two.
We need 4/5 more wins to stay up, which was our aim for this season. We will do that easily…

🤣🤣🤣🤣 newly promoted team. With still many players not at this level, sitting mid table. If thats wheels coming off, I would take that all day.
