Leeds United dubbed ‘diabolical’ in BT Sport live broadcast of 1-1 draw v Leicester City
Jermaine Beckford didn’t hold back when he was sharing his thoughts on the Leeds United performances prior to their 1-1 draw with Leicester at Elland Road on Tuesday night.
Before playing the Foxes on 25 April, Leeds had been on a rotten run and had conceded 11 goals in their last two home matches.
After losing 5-1 to Crystal Palace and 6-1 to Liverpool in West Yorkshire, earning a point and stopping the rot versus Leicester was probably more positive than negative.

However, it’s more than likely to be seen as two points dropped rather than a point gained but Beckford hopes that the fans will be key going forward for his former club.
Speaking on BT Sport 1 on Tuesday night (25 April, 07:05pm) ahead of kick-off in Leeds versus Leicester, Beckford said: “Naturally, it’s worrying.
“It’s a worrying time, especially when you take into account the last two games at home have been nothing short of diabolical, especially in the second half against Crystal Palace.
“There are a lot of areas to improve but the most important thing today is that the Leeds United fans get behind the team and stick with them through thick and thin.”

Rotten
Leeds’ home form is atrocious lately.
It feels as though a good number of the players are buckling under the pressure of the Elland Road crowd, who were yet again incredible against Leicester on Tuesday night.
But that’s not Leeds material. It’s not what playing for this club is about.
Leeds United are too big for some of these players. We’re looking at the likes of Marc Roca, Weston McKennie and Brenden Aaronson, who have been at big clubs in their careers but are unlikely to have experienced anything like this.
But even the so-called senior players aren’t stepping up.
What was Liam Cooper playing at against Leicester? For their goal, he charged out and went to ground, instantly ruling himself out of stopping Jamie Vardy’s goal.
He did it again not long after too and was fortunate that Vardy’s second effort was ruled out as offside.
Luke Ayling and Patrick Bamford have also been massive let-downs.
In other Leeds United news, Ally McCoist lost his mind over a “ridiculous” incident against Leicester.
