‘Leeds don’t care’ – Berbatov predicts winner in five-goal Man Utd v Leeds thriller

Former Man United star Dimitar Berbatov has paid tribute to Leeds United ahead of the Premier League game at Old Trafford on Sunday.

He said that “Leeds don’t care” who they play and predicted a five-goal thriller when they lock horns with Man United.

Writing in his regular predictions column for The Metro Berbatov said, ” Another really important game for United here, I think because Leeds play open football and they are brave going forward, there will be a lot more space for United to counter-attack and cause problems with their speed.

“But Leeds don’t care who they play and stick to their game. I can see lots of goals in this one.”

Berbatov has predicted a 3-2 win for his former side.

Leeds United

Goals galore?

3-2 from Berbatov, 4-3 from Sky Sports journalist Lewis Jones… The last time pundits predicted this many goals for a Leeds game was against Everton and we won it 1-0.

The reason they could be right this time is that Man United won’t be happy sitting back against Leeds at Old Trafford.

Despite the drab nature of the recent Manchester derby, we just don’t see any way they sit back and let Leeds come at them in their home ground.

It means that it is set to be an open, flowing, attacking game and we honestly believe it could go either way.

Let’s not forget how bad Man United’s home form has been so far this season. Taking just those results alone Man United would be one off the relegation spots in 17th.

They’ve only won one home game all season and that was against struggling West Brom.

Even Arsenal beat them at Old Trafford and they’ve been absolutely abject.

Leeds have been brilliant away from home with three wins from six.

We’d love it if Leeds heap even more misery on United on Sunday.
