Leeds United: Crysencio Summerville arrives at Stamford Bridge for Chelsea clash

Crysencio Summerville has arrived at Stamford Bridge ahead of the FA Cup clash between Leeds United and Chelsea, according to Yorkshire Evening Post journalist Joe Donnohue.

It had been questioned as to whether Daniel Farke would include the attacker in his squad amid doubts over his fitness, but his involvement today has now become clear.

Donnohue also shared via his X account that Daniel James and Patrick Bamford had arrived in West London ahead of the game with Leeds targeting progress into the quarter-final.

Crysencio Summerville could star v Chelsea

Given the level of performances Summerville has turned in so far this season at Elland Road, his potential involvement could be the key to beating their rivals away from home, with his performances earning high praise.

Concerns as to whether the winger would be fit to face Chelsea had been the topic of conversation in the buildup to the game, but any major concerns will have been cleared as a result of his arrival at Stamford Bridge.

Summerville has picked up 15 goals and eight assists in 31 Championship games so far this season, establishing himself as the main man under Farke’s leadership, and could be key to earning a result tonight.

Should Leeds beat Chelsea today, their progress into the quarter-final will be secured, and fans can start dreaming of another day out in London and a trip to Wembley Stadium – as well as potentially some silverware at Elland Road.
