Leeds United confirm starting XI for Premier League clash v Crystal Palace
Jesse Marsch has named his Leeds United starting XI for the Premier League clash against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Sunday, 9 October.
Leeds are looking to bounce back from a winless run of four Premier League games, with their last victory coming against Chelsea at Elland Road back in August.
As announced on Twitter, Marsch reintroduced Patrick Bamford to the lineup after he recovered from injury, while Rodrigo drops deeper to replace the suspended Luis Sinisterra. £5million summer signing Darko Gyabi was also named on the bench.
Time to respond
After a hugely frustrating goalless draw with Aston Villa last week, Leeds will be desperate to claim three points against Palace.
The huge break enforced on Leeds last month gave the side plenty of time to train, but it did come at the cost of match sharpness, as a few Whites players took some time to get back into it against Villa.

But with all the rust now shaken off, Marsch will be hoping for a fast start and an energetic performance from his side.
Leeds haven’t always fared well during their trips to London sides, but Palace aren’t in great form themselves and currently sit 17th with just one win this season.
Victory at Selhurst Park would be a great way for Leeds to get back on track and re-state their intentions of avoiding a relegation scrap this season.
Plus, with a further four matches yet to come in October, it’d be great for Leeds to build up some momentum early this month to help them when the schedule turns hectic.
