Leeds United chances of beating Watford predicted by supercomputer
Leeds United are set to make the trip down south to face off against Watford in their Championship clash on Tuesday.
The Whites have a chance to extend their unbeaten run in the second tier to 14 games when they take on Watford at Vicarage Road.
The Hornets may be sitting at 10th in the second-tier table at the moment, but that doesn’t mean they’re going to allow the West Yorkshire outfit to walk all over them.
Tom Cleverley’s men have got plenty of quality among their ranks and the game between themselves and Leeds on 11 February – in which Daniel James is now set to be available – should be quite the spectacle.
The last time they faced one another, it was a fairly end-to-end affair with only Daniel Bachmann’s poor performance separating the two teams.
Supercomputer predicts result of Leeds United v Watford
Leeds’ only goal this season has been to earn promotion to the Premier League and, at the moment, it feels like that exactly where they’re headed.
The Whites have been one of the most dominant teams in the Championship this term and it’s hard to see anything else other than promotion in the Leeds’ future.
And, after a new update from the Opta Supercomputer (11 February), it seems that the West Yorkshire outfit are expected to be the clear winners.
The supercomputer predicts that Daniel Farke‘s men have a 53.1 per cent chance of leaving Vicarage Road with all three points, whereas Watford only have a 24.1 per cent of beating Leeds, with a draw landing a 22.8 per cent chance of occurring.
Daniel Farke needs to make sure Leeds are on top form
Last time out, many expected Leeds to cruise towards victory and advance into the fifth round of the FA Cup.
However, the world evidently had different plans as Farke’s men were sent crashing out of the tournament after a rather poor performance.

Players such as Josuha Guilavogui and Ethan Ampadu were nowhere near the standards they’d been setting all season. To be quite frank, the Whites can’t afford a slip-up of that nature in the Championship.
Every win counts from now until the end of the season for Leeds, especially if they wish to earn automatic promotion rather than try their luck in the playoffs once again.
When they faced Southampton in the playoff final last season, things didn’t quite go to plan and Leeds ended up staying in the second tier.
Only time will tell what the future holds, but if the Opta supercomputer is correct, things should go swimmingly for the West Yorkshire outfit on Tuesday evening.
