Leeds United called out on BBC after ‘Shocking’ moment v Swansea
Ian Walsh has blasted Leeds United for their defending in the first half against Swansea on Sunday.
The BBC pundit was far from impressed as Harry Darling ghosted in to give the home side the lead from an early free-kick on 23 November.
The Whites managed to respond positively with Manor Solomon tapping home but went into the break 2-1 down after a late Liam Cullen goal.
Speaking on BBC Radio Wales, former Swans striker, Walsh blasted the lack of defending on show [24 November, 15:11], saying: “Brilliant finish from the big centre-half but equally a fantastic ball in.
“It’s shocking defending by Leeds.”
Must win for Leeds United
The Swansea match is a crucial one for the Whites as they could move to the summit of the Championship with a victory.
Looking to avoid a repeat of last season, where they finished there and missed out on automatic promotion in a heartbreaking fashion, away wins are crucial.
It would be a huge momentum boost if they could take advantage of Sheffield United and Sunderland dropping points, but massive work is needed.

Joe Rodon has been a huge addition for the Whites since his £10million move from Tottenham and earned rave reviews for his performances on international duty with Wales.
It was a 45 minutes to forget at the back though, with Swansea scoring with their only two real chances on goal, something he will not be happy with.
Daniel Farke has the likes of Willy Gnonto and Largie Ramazani on the bench and changes may need to be made sooner rather than later to turn things around.
