Instagram post from Ayling's partner suggests Leeds right-back ill ahead of clash v Blackburn

Leeds United are definitely without four players for their Championship game against Blackburn on Saturday with Marcelo Bielsa confirming that Adam Forshaw, Eddie Nketiah, Ezgjan Alioski and Jamie Shackleton are all out injured.

However, some Leeds fans are now concerned that Luke Ayling might be missing as well.

That follows an Instagram story from his girlfriend Poppy Weller, who posted footage of Ayling looking sorry for himself in bed with the message, “Looking after poorly boy”.

There was no mention of Ayling in Thursday’s press conference and he was spotted in training earlier in the week, but he doesn’t look that happy in the Instagram post.

There’s been no official confirmation and it might be that a Lemsip and a good night’s sleep is enough to see him fit for the game.

Even if he is ruled out Beisla has options. He could play Barry Douglas on the left and bring Stuart Dallas back into the right-back spot where he impressed earlier in the season with Ayling out injured.

Still, some Leeds fans think it would be a big blow to the side, although as we stressed earlier, there’s been no official word on his absence yet.

Leeds go into the game on Saturday in third place in the Championship. The game is at Elland Road and kicks off at 3pm.
