Leeds player set for final chance under Daniel Farke vs Burnley amid Noah Okafor blow

Leeds United haven’t had amazing luck so far this season, but continue to fight for points in the Premier League.

Daniel Farke has lost key Leeds players to injury in the first few months of the season for the Whites.

Leeds play Burnley at Turf Moor on Saturday with a massive opportunity to go even further clear of their relegation rivals.

Noah Okafor has been a revelation since arriving at Leeds, but with the attacker now ruled out for the clash against Burnley, Farke may be forced to hand another forward his final chance to impress.

Jack Harrison to benefit from Noah Okafor injury

Farke has demanded more from Okafor, presumably only because he knows how detrimental the forward is to Leeds’ chances of survival this campaign.

Farke confirmed in his pre-match press conference that Okafor would not travel to Turf Moor, with the Swiss international set to be out for up to 10 days.

The late news comes as a massive blow for Farke, who may now turn to Jack Harrison.

Harrison has came off the bench regularly for Leeds so far in the Premier League this season, but has yet to be given a start.

The versatile winger enjoyed his first four seasons at Elland Road but hasn’t performed well ever since he moved to Everton.

Burnley could be Harrison’s last chance to impress

With Leeds under financial constraints this season, if he fails to perform, Harrison could be offloaded in January.

Burnley is one of the best opponents Harrison could wish for as the Clarets only sit on four points so far this season.

Harrison needs to be at his best for both himself but for Leeds too as Okafor’s injury is going to leave a massive hole in a Leeds attack that has faired well so far.
