
Leeds confirm starting XI v Manchester United
Marcelo Bielsa has made zero changes to the Leeds United starting line-up ahead of the Premier League clash with Manchester United at Elland Road on Sunday.
Leeds’ official Twitter account confirmed that Raphinha had yet again missed out due to injury with Helder Costa resuming on the wing.
Under-23s stars Sam Greenwood and Crysenscio Summerville are on the bench. For 19-year-old winger Summerville, it’s his first appearance in the Leeds first team.
Huge for both teams
Leeds have the backing of everyone other than Manchester United fans this weekend as we ‘legacy fans’ aim to take on the ugly and greedy six.
It’s also a massive derby between the two clubs as they take each on in the top-flight for the first time at Elland Road in almost two decades.
Man United got the better of us at Old Trafford earlier this season – the same cannot happen this weekend.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side is in good form, winning all of their last five matches in the Premier League.
But Leeds are also playing very well with Bielsa leading the Yorkshire club to three wins and two draws in their last five, with those draws coming against Chelsea and Liverpool.
