Joe Rodon spotted in ‘beserk’ Leeds United moment after what happened v Cardiff
Joe Rodon was spotted going “berserk” at his Leeds United teammates after they allowed too much space between themselves and the Whites’ goal, BBC Radio Leeds commentator Jonny Buchan said.
Cardiff found themselves on the break towards the end of the first half and almost created a chance out of nothing after there was too much of a gap left on the left-hand side of the pitch.
The Whites ended up hammering relegation battlers Cardiff 7-0 after a hugely impressive performance that showed they mean business.
Speaking live on BBC Radio Leeds (1 February, 15:45pm), Buchan shared what he saw the defender doing.
“Did you see then, Rodon and a few others went berserk there for allowing the opposition that much space [at left-back],” he said.
Leeds United are well on their way towards Premier League promotion
Even before the 2024/25 season even kicked off, Leeds’ main goal was to earn their Premier League status back after narrowly missing out last season.
With that in mind, it’s no surprise to see that the Whites are leading the way in the league and have managed to dominate Cardiff in a 7-0 battering on Saturday.

The winter transfer window still has a few days left until it closes for good and even though fans have been calling for the West Yorkshire outfit to bring in some new faces to bolster their ranks, it feels like Daniel Farke’s men are in a fairly solid place without any new additions.
Of course, there are always areas and positions within a team that could be bolstered such as Leeds’ number nine but if players such as Dan James and Manor Solomon can keep playing to this level until the end of the campaign, Leeds would likely be more than fine without any new signings.
In other Leeds news, a major transfer target is absent from his club’s matchday squad on Saturday.
