Jermaine Beckford and BBC pundit in agreement over Javi Gracia sack at Leeds United
Jermaine Beckford and Don Hutchison are in agreement that Leeds United need to sack Javi Gracia to avoid relegation from the Premier League.
After the games over the weekend, the two appeared on the Premier League Weekend-Wrap to discuss the 4-1 defeat against Bournemouth.
While the Whites are not in the relegation zone, many have them on their list of three teams to go down this season.

Hutchison, who’s also a BBC pundit said, (30/04, 22:03), “It’s not a massive slap on Javi Gracia but he’s not winning any of these games. As it stands, they’re going down. Maybe you can get in someone from the under-21s.”
Asked if he agreed with that assessment, Beckford replied, “Yeah, I do. The results say so. There’s not one win in those last nine games. It’s unacceptable.”
Spot on
Leeds desperately need someone who can come in with fresh ideas and get a response from these players in the final few weeks of the season.
It’s clear that whatever Gracia is doing is not working and he’s on a flexible contract which is very likely to be until the end of the season.

He may not even have a fixed date until which he’s compensated so it makes sense to get rid of him right away.
Even if he does, getting relegated is going to be a massive financial hit for the club and they’d rather buy out the next month on his deal and bring in someone who can get them over the line.
Sackings usually do not happen in the final month of the season but desperate times call for desperate measures at Elland Road.
