Jeff Stelling reacts to Leeds United manager news live on Sky Sports today
Jeff Stelling believes that Leeds United not having a manager in line to take over from Jesse Marsch after his sacking is “gross negligence.”
The Sky Sports host compared the Whites to Southampton and their decision to sack Nathan Jones, admitting that both clubs are in a crisis as things stand.
Leeds United travel to Everton in what is a huge Premier League showdown for both clubs, with the travelling fans set to explode if three points are not collected yet again.

Speaking live on Sky Sports’ Soccer Saturday [18 February, 12:23], Stelling could not believe the circumstances surrounding the Whites at Elland Road.
“Two teams in crisis, more than two in the Premier League,” he said.
“These two are in real trouble, two teams who sacked their managers without a Scooby Doo of who should come into their side. Southampton and Leeds are who we’re talking about, of course.
“Sacking your managers, not bringing anyone in, that’s gross negligence.”

Crisis?
It is the same old story at Elland Road.
Leeds dominate games and opponents but fail to put their chances away and then leave with nothing, and that didn’t change under Michael Skubala despite positivity again.
We are now fed up with Marcelo Bielsa being brought up time and time again, with that link now holding the club back when a new direction needs to be formed in the dugout.
Marsch came in with a similar style and failed, something that needs to be changed immediately.
Skubala won’t be able to do that straight away in a caretaker role, so the sooner this situation is resolved and his long-term future is confirmed or a new man comes in, the better.
We are not quite at crisis status yet, but lose today and against Southampton next week, then the Whites go beyond that and Premier League relegation may be inevitable.
Let’s stay positive, and bring home those three points today.
