Leeds United travel to Selhurst Park on Saturday and the game has been selected as one of Sky Sports Super Six games.
In a poll done earlier in the week, Sky Sports revealed that the majority of fans think that Leeds will come out on top, with a 2-1 win for the Whites being the most popular pick.
And that’s the view of Sky Sports host Jeff Stelling, too, as he made his prediction on the Super Six website.
“Leeds will bounce back after their heavy defeat to Leicester on Monday,” Stelling said.
“Crystal Palace threaten and they can be dangerous but Marcelo Bielsa’s men will be too intense and work the ball around with enough quality to take the three points back to Yorkshire.”
Stelling thinks that Leeds will win without conceding in a 1-0 victory.
Struijk to return
A clean sheet would be just the tonic after such a heavy defeat and Robin Koch and Liam Cooper should be the players to line-up in the heart of the Leeds defence.
The one question mark in the side is over the holding midfield spot with Kalvin Phillips still out injured.
We hope that pascal Struijk gets the nod after being hauled off after 20 minutes in the game against Aston Villa.
Mateusz Klich needs to move back to his more advanced midfield position and the only way that can happen is if the 21-year-old comes into the starting XI.
The alternative is Jamie Shackleton but that would force Klich into playing out of position in the deeper role and that doesn’t suit him.
He was all over the place at times against Leicester and it’s time to free him up and give Struijk another chance.
We think that’s the best route to the 1-0 win for Leeds that Stelling has predicted.
