Jeff Stelling predicts tight Leeds United vs Brighton result for Sky Sports
Jeff Stelling has predicted Leeds United to get a point against Roberto De Zerbi’s Brighton side at Elland Road this weekend.
The high-flying Seagulls come to West Yorkshire on Saturday (11 March) in genuine contention for Champions League places, currently in eighth but with multiple games in hand on teams above them.
Meanwhile, Javi Gracia’s Whites team are only just outside the relegation zone on goal-difference, albeit having played a game fewer than Everton who are level on points.
But in his Super6 predictions for Sky Sports Stelling expects there to be nothing between the two sides and has gone for a 1-1 draw.
Solid
Gracia needs wins and he needs the teams around him to not get them, it is as simple as that as Leeds United gear up for another battle right down to the wire.

A point would at least keep things ticking over against a side who showed last week in their 4-0 mauling of the Whites’ fellow strugglers West Ham (4 March) that they can run riot if given the opportunity.
The trip to Wolves a week later is perhaps a better opportunity for the Leeds boss to record his second win, and it is difficult to escape the conclusion that the lion’s share of the returns are going to need to be put on the board through April.
Seven Premier League fixtures in the month include meetings with Nottingham Forest, Leicester, Bournemouth and Crystal Palace.
Because, aside from what could well be a relegation play-off against West Ham the final matches in May currently look daunting, with Manchester City, Tottenham and Newcastle rounding out the run-in.
Leeds fans will happily take points wherever they come from, and under Jesse Marsch there was a tendency for this team to up their game against the bigger sides.
That leaves the door open for a positive result against Brighton with the Elland Road support behind the players, but a more sustainable way out of trouble will surely be to win against direct rivals.
