Jeff Stelling predicts Leeds United clash v Watford, Sky Sports pundit disagrees

Jeff Stelling predicts Leeds United will take a huge stride towards safety by beating Watford at Vicarage Road on Saturday.

Burnley’s win over Everton on Wednesday means that Leeds are now just six points ahead of the bottom three.

However, Sky Sports legend Stelling feels the Whites will earn three massive points against 19th-placed Watford this weekend, predicting on the Super 6 website that Jesse Marsch’s men will win 2-1.

Neil Mellor, however, disagrees with Stelling.

The Sky Sports pundit has tipped Watford to win 1-0, which would surely cause some nervous swearing among Leeds fans if that turned out to be correct.

Huge game

Leeds won’t lose this.

There’s simply no way that’ll be allowed to happen by the Whites’ players, who’ve shown a great deal of fight and passion in recent weeks.

Marsch has overseen an improvement in his side’s form with United winning two and drawing one of their last three Premier League games.

We’re the form team in the relegation mix right now and we doubt that form will die down any time soon based on the upcoming fixtures.

Leeds United

Burnley have Norwich on Sunday while Everton take on Manchester United in the lunch-time kick-off on Saturday.

Everton’s form is woeful and they have bad fixtures on the horizon while Burnley’s run is easier.

Right now, we’d predict the bottom three to be Norwich, Watford and Frank Lampard’s Everton.

Leeds could finish as high as 12th or 13th if they keep up this form.

In other Leeds United news, four players have been ruled out for Leeds ahead of their trip down the M1.
