Jeff Stelling predicts Leeds United clash v Nottingham Forest in Premier League for Sky Sports

Jeff Stelling has backed Leeds United to beat Nottingham Forest on Tuesday 04 April in the Premier League when they meet at Elland Road.

The Sky Sports host has predicted that it will finish 2-0 to the Whites, who will be desperate for three points after falling to a 4-1 loss last time out at Arsenal.

Leeds currently sit outside of the Premier League relegation zone on goal difference but could start the game in the bottom three should Everton not lose against Spurs this evening.

Sharing his predictions for the latest round of Sky Sports’ Super 6, Stelling backed Javi Gracia to get back to winning ways and continue his decent start.

“Chelsea are struggling, but so are Liverpool,” he wrote.

“This is one that could be decided by a mistake, however, I don’t think one will come so I am siding with a stalemate. Elsewhere, Manchester United will record an important win at home to Brentford, as they look for a reaction following their defeat to Newcastle.”

Must win.

Leeds simply have to win this game, that is the only outcome needed.

Forest have been dreadful away from home this season, and the Whites will know that a fast start to this one could be critical, especially if they get the first goal.

Gracia had his side sit deep and try to counter against Arsenal, and it did work until the penalty, but in these types of games against those sides around you, it has to be different.

With Forest the first of three consecutive games at Elland Road, Leeds will be looking to take points from them, Crystal Palace and the struggling Liverpool.

A clean sheet would be great for the goal difference given how tight it is at the bottom of the Premier League, but three points are the main objective right now.

Pressure will be high as the first whistle goes, but that is where diamonds are formed and Leeds will be desperate to discover a couple of those on Tuesday evening.
