Jeff Stelling & Matt Le Tissier predict score in Leeds v Reading clash
A panel of Sky Sports pundits have all predicted that Leeds United will record back-to-back wins by beating Reading at Elland Road on Saturday.
Jeff Stelling, Matt Le Tissier, Phil Thompson and Charlie Nicholas all have Leeds winning the game albeit with different scorelines.
Le Tissier and Thompson think that Leeds are going to run riot and score three goals with Thompson seeing the game as 3-0 and Le Tissier going 3-1.
Stelling and Nicholas think it’s going to be tighter and predict the Elland Road faithful are going to be in for another nervy afternoon. Both predict a 2-1 home win.
All four delivered their predictions on the Sky Sports Super Six site.
Championship leaders West Brom have a tougher game on paper travelling to Ashton Gate to play Bristol City, who will still be smarting after receiving a footballing lesson last Saturday at Elland Road.
Nicholas and Thompson think the Baggies will drop points and predict a draw, with Stelling and Le Tissier going for a West Brom win.
Leeds have a clean bill of health going into Saturday’s game and Marcelo Bielsa is expected to name an unchanged team with Patrick Bamford leading the line.
The only unknown for Leeds is over goalkeeper Kiko Casilla.
His FA hearing over an alleged racist incident in the game against Charlton last September was heard over the past couple of days and Leeds are waiting to hear if he is going to be found guilty and banned.
That outcome is expected today. If Casilla is banned and Leeds decide not to appeal, Illan Meslier will take his place in goal.
