Leeds United defender Jayden Bogle was seen nursing a "really uncomfortable" injury during the 2-0 win against Hull City on 31 August.

Yorkshire Evening Post journalist Graham Smyth posted on X having spotted Bogle land awkwardly after a jump, just a few minutes before Joel Piroe made it 2-0 to the Whites.

Ethan Ampadu had to stretch the right-back's leg for him before he got back to his feet, and Smyth added that the 24-year-old was stretching with play temporarily halted.

Speaking to Daniel Farke post-match, BBC Radio Leeds commentator Adam Pope also took to X with an update, stating that: "Bogle just went off with cramp, not an injury."

Leeds United set to avoid Jayden Bogle injury scare?

Heading into the international break off the back of his side's latest 2-0 victory in a Yorkshire derby, Farke still has plenty of issues to address before United return to action on 14 September.

While Bogle may need to be assessed in the coming days, Dan James missed the match against Hull in its entirety due to a hamstring strain [Adam Pope, 31 August], which will also rule him out of playing contention for Wales.

Added to that is the gelling of several new signings who have only arrived at Thorp Arch in recent days, with one – Manor Solomon – being a surprise starter against Hull just four days into his Leeds career.

Where Bogle is concerned, the acquisition of versatile full-back Isaac Schmidt from St. Gallen gives both he and Junior Firpo direct competition on the flanks of the defence, and he'll be keen to earn a starting place.

Bogle will therefore hope that his second-half issue doesn't linger for long, as he looks to put a mixed start to life at Elland Road behind him in the coming weeks.
