Jayden Bogle baffled by Daniel Farke decision in Leeds defeat vs Brighton
Jayden Bogle will be having conversations with Daniel Farke this weekend.
Leeds suffered a 3-0 defeat to Brighton on Saturday afternoon, with a performance that was arguably deserving of even less.
Gabriel Gudmundsson struggled the most, but several of the Whites’ usual top performers were below par at the Amex, and even that is being generous.
Bogle was another, and according to Beren Cross, he seemed bemused at a decision made by Farke towards the latter stages of the clash.

Daniel Farke opted to sub Jayden Bogle vs Brighton
Aside from perhaps Noah Okafor, Farke could have taken nearly any Leeds player off in the South Coast, and would have been justified in his decision.
However, towards the latter stages of the encounter, the German opted to withdraw Bogle, with James Justin brought on to replace him.
After leaving the pitch, the camera panned to Bogle, who seemed locked in a conversation with Farke and his staff, none of whom looked particularly happy.
In fact, according to Beren Cross on X, Bogle appeared to be debating with the German as to why he was hooked.
Cross said: “Some debate between Bogle and the staff about his withdrawal. Don’t think he understood why he was taken off.”
As for why, it was fairly obvious, and Farke was fully justified.

Brighton were gifted a goal by Jayden Bogle
Gudmundsson was at fault for two of the goals, while Bogle was certainly at fault for the last one.
After being dispossessed on the edge of his own box, Brighton scored their third of the game through Diego Gomez, who had the Whites on the ropes all afternoon.
That wasn’t it for Bogle, with his general perofmance very poor.
Via FotMob, the 25-year-old failed to win a single duel in the South Coast, with his only defensive contribution being one clearance.
Only one of his three attempted crosses reached a teammate, with zero chances created by the Englishman.
Bogle has been reliable for Leeds this season, and he will bounce back from this display, but he was far from his best.
