Jamie Redknapp has suggested that Leeds United youngster Archie Gray will be a "tremendous player" in the future.

The 15-year-old was spotted with the Leeds squad for their Premier League clash against Tottenham Hotspur away from home.

Redknapp has suggested that Leeds have got loads of young talents, and he is thrilled with Archie, who hails from the famous Gray family.

"Archie Gray, 15 years of age, has travelled with the Leeds squad today. He is going to be a tremendous young player, from the famous Gray family," said Redknapp on Sky Sports.

Exciting talent

With Patrick Bamford, Rodrigo and Raphinha out of the matchday squad, Marcelo Bielsa took youngster Archie Gray with the squad for the clash against Spurs.

The young midfielder has already impressed this season in the Papa John’s Trophy where he particularly showed great maturity against Tranmere.

He registered an assist and became the youngster ever player to assist a goal in the competition.

Archie hails from the famous Gray family. His great-uncle, Eddie Gray, is a club legend. He is one of the greatest ever Leeds players the club have produced.

Eddie’s brother and Archie’s grandfather Frank Gray is also a club legend managing over 300 appearances.

Archie’s father Andy Gray was a product of the Leeds academy and played around 30 games for the Whites. The youngster certainly has got terrific ability, and Bielsa has rightly spotted in. He is in safe hands.

It was a tough night for the youngster but he will collect plenty of experience from this trip.
