Jamie O'Hara and Jason Cundy silence Leeds United fan live on air
Jamie O’Hara and Jason Cundy silenced a Leeds United fan live on air when they hosted talkSPORT recently.
John, the Whites supporter, believed that everyone was making too much of Dan James’ challenge on Mateo Kovacic in the 3-0 loss against Chelsea.
While he admitted that it was a sending off, he certainly did not think that it was a potential leg breaker.
Speaking live on talkSPORT, O’Hara asked him, “Have you seen it back, John?”
John responded, “I did and he didn’t mean to do it.”
To which O’Hara said, “Yeah obviously he didn’t mean to hurt him. Dan James isn’t a violent person, but the tackle is shocking. He’s over the ball, he nearly broke his leg.”

John continued the back and forth. “It wasn’t a good tackle, but you’re overreacting,” he said. “I think you’re getting a bit silly now.
Cundy then chimed in to say, “John, if it was a red card, then there was no overreaction.”
Baffling
Even the most ardent of Leeds fans will tell you that tackles like that have no place in the game.
It was a miracle that Kovacic walked off unscathed and things could have been a lot worse for him.
That said, James needs to get his act together if he wants to have a future at Elland Road.
His stint thus far has not proven why Marcelo Bielsa was so eager to sign him.
He possibly believed that the Welshman was the player he wanted to sign way back in the Championship, but he clearly isn’t.
Bar his work rate there’s very little that he brings to the table and we will be surprised if he’s a first-team regular next season as reinforcements are desperately needed.
In other Leeds United news, the Whites could look to sign a ‘Phenomenal’ attacking midfielder this summer as he’s already bid farewell to fans of his club.
